The AIPCT is pleased to announce that it will mark the First Anniversary of its founding with a special lecture and reception for the public. The invited lecturer is Lawrence Cahoone, Professor of Philosophy at the University of the Holy Cross, Worcester, MA. “George Herbert Mead and the Three Keys to Human Evolution.” Professor Cahoone is author of Cultural Revolutions (Penn State Press, 2008) and The Orders of Nature (SUNY Press, 2013), among many other publications. The lecture will be at 411 N. 9th Street in Murphysboro, beginning at 7 PM. The house is open at 6:30 and there will be a reception following the lecture. No RSVP is needed, but it is good to BYOB, although beer and wine is available and light refreshments.
