The AIPCT is pleased to announce that its fall reading group will commence Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 7:30 pm. The reading for the fall will be R. Buckminster Fuller, Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth (1969). The reading schedule is below.
The leader for this fall is Cornelius Crane, a fellow of the AIPCT. Corny has been an activist in the region promoting Fuller’s ideas about ecology and humane technologis and has devoted many years to the study of Fuller’s ideas and those of other progressive complexity theorists. His full biography is on our Fellows page.
The AIPCT reading groups are free and open to the public. Participants are free to arrive at 7 PM and socializing begins. The serious discussion of the reading begins at 7:30 and usually ends around 9 PM. There is time to visit afterwards. Light refreshments and drinks (wine, beer, and soft drinks) are provided.
