Carolyn Gassan Plochmann, the wife of George Kimball Plochmann (1914-2014), long time professor of philosophy at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, has endowed the AIPCT with Professor Plochmann’s books and some of his papers, along with art created by him and by herself. This is Carolyn Plochmann’s portrait of Kim, which now hangs in the Institute. Here is a link to Professor Plochman’s notice at the time of his passing. The AIPCT thanks the Plochmann’s for its generous gift and are proud to preserve his memory in this way. http://thesouthern.com/news/local/obituaries/george-plochmann/article_7861d46e-689e-54cd-87a1-88934ba610e3.html
