The AIPCT is pleased to announce that its fall reading group will commence Thursday, September 19, 2019, at 7:30 pm. The reading for the fall will be R. Buckminster Fuller, Operating Manual for Spaceship Earth (1969). The reading schedule is below.
The leader for this fall is Cornelius Crane, a fellow of the AIPCT. Corny was for some years the host of the radio show on WDBX called “A Fuller World,” dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of Bucky Fuller’s ideas. Corny has been an activist in the region promoting Fuller’s ideas about ecology and humane technologis and has devoted many years to the study of Fuller’s ideas and those of other progressive complexity theorists. The AIPCT reading groups are free and open to the public. Participants are free to arrive at 7 PM and socializing begins. The serious discussion of the reading begins at 7:30 and usually ends around 9 PM. There is time to visit afterwards. Light refreshments and drinks (wine, beer, and soft drinks) are provided. Participants may feel welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks.
